School of the Future
Seckinger High School is a new four-story, 510,000 SF next-generation learning environment that includes a mechatronics lab, advanced learning spaces, a stadium and a field house.
A Safety-Focused Culture
The Carroll Daniel team at Seckinger took safety culture to a new level by partnering with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other organizations on the project. We welcomed safety officers to the jobsite for voluntary annual inspections, and quarterly and monthly meetings to discuss safety on the project. Through the collaboration, we provided thousands of hours of safety training to team members at Seckinger, including an on-site fall protection demonstration.

Maximizing Efficiency, Schedule and Workforce
During the busiest part of construction, about 250 team members were working daily on the Seckinger project. With construction beginning during the peak of the first COVID-19 wave, early steel packages were delayed. Our team pushed ahead, maximizing productivity in areas where steel wasn’t required. Despite the material gap, the team worked roughly 625,000 total person-hours on Seckinger, delivering a premium learning atmosphere within the original schedule.
