Empowering Agricultural Education
With agriculture being the largest industry in Georgia, agriculture education has become an invaluable resource. To combat program growth, the new Pickens High School Agricultural Facility features a livestock show arena that seats 350 people, livestock holding with 150 pens, a large conference room, multiple office areas, a kitchen area, and a concession stand.
From Classroom to Community
Pickens High School has a well-known and successful agricultural program – with dozens of graduates on scholarship for agricultural studies attending colleges across the country. The school’s new state-of-the-art agricultural facility will provide students with real life experience and serve both the high school and the community. The building will serve multiple purposes, allowing space for livestock shows, meetings, performances, auctions, and classrooms.
