GAINESVILLE, GA. – On Wednesday, February 26, Carroll Daniel Construction continued its partnership with the Georgia Ports Authority at the Blue Ridge Connector Project for a Team Appreciation Lunch. Carroll Daniel team members served bar-b-que and refreshments to over 150 subcontractor partners to thank every person who has played such a vital role in the progress of this project. Their effort and commitment does not go unnoticed, and we are grateful for their contributions.

“We are honored that Georgia Ports Authority has entrusted us with this project, and we’re proud to partner with all of you to bring this significant development to Northeast Georgia,” said Brian Daniel, President & CEO of Caroll Daniel Construction, to the subcontractors in attendance. “Every subcontractor on this jobsite is instrumental in making this project a success—thank you all for your continued dedication and hard work.”

The Blue Ridge Connector is projected for completion in early 2026. This 104-acre development will establish a state-of-the-art inland port intermodal facility, creating a direct rail link between the Port of Savannah and Gainesville, Georgia. The project is expected to generate significant economic benefits for the Northeast Georgia region while also alleviating highway congestion across the state. Carroll Daniel Construction sincerely appreciates our dedicated subcontractors for their hard work and expertise in bringing this project to life.
