578 Added Parking Spaces

An additional 2 stories added 168 new parking spaces to the downtown deck, and the 8 story north deck provided 410 new spaces.

132,150 SF New Parking Deck

A new, award-winning precast concrete parking structure was built to accommodate Gainesville’s growth.

1,700 Parking Spaces Total

With the new parking structures, downtown Gainesville now offers about 1,700 parking spaces for residents and visitors alike to visit the city’s bustling downtown area.

Accommodating Gainesville’s Growth

With new hotels, dining, retail, and entertainment venues continuously opening in downtown Gainesville, the city has experienced a great amount of growth in the past ten years. With the additional floors and a brand-new parking deck, the downtown area now offers about 1,700 parking spaces – providing ample parking for those visiting downtown to dine at one of the restaurants in the Gainesville Renaissance building, catch a show at Boot Barn Hall, and more.

A New Parking Deck for the Heart of the City

The new, 8-level north parking deck features a thin-brick exterior façade and arched openings that complement the surrounding downtown Gainesville architecture. The design has accommodations for a retail concept, including flexible space on the ground and second floor that could be used for storage, kitchen space or restrooms. The Gainesville North Parking Deck project was an ACI Georgia Chapter Design Award Winner and received 1st Place in the Parking Deck Category.
