TIGER, GA. – On January 2, 2025, Rabun County Public Schools and Carroll Daniel Construction hosted a groundbreaking ceremony at the future site of the Rabun County High School Academic Center. The ceremony featured remarks from Justin Spillers, Principal of Rabun County High School; Steve Cole, Superintendent of Rabun County Schools; Chris Erwin, representative of Carroll Daniel Construction; and a current Rabun County High School student, each highlighting the positive impact the new academic building will have on the school and the community. Attendees celebrated the milestone with refreshments from the local Wildcat Grill.

Carroll Daniel Construction is honored to partner with Rabun County Public Schools and CDH Partners to build the nearly 110,000-square-foot academic center, which will feature state-of-the-art spaces to support modern learning. Set for completion in the summer of 2026, the project will be completed on an active campus, with the new facility replacing the existing building after its demolition.

This project reflects a shared commitment to providing exceptional educational resources for Rabun County students and ensuring a lasting investment in the community’s future.
