MONROE, GA. – On Tuesday, April 22, Carroll Daniel was honored to participate in the ribbon cutting ceremony for the grand opening of the new Walton County YMCA facility. This milestone event marked the unveiling of a state-of-the-art, 36,000-square-foot complex dedicated to promoting health and wellness throughout the Walton County community and surrounding areas.

This project represents over a decade of diligent planning, fundraising, and perseverance by the community. The completed facility stands as a testament to their unwavering commitment and collective vision.

The new YMCA includes a wide range of amenities, such as an eight-lane competition lap pool, a recreational pool, a modern fitness center, and activity center. In addition, it offers a variety of youth programs, including child watch services, afterschool care, and summer camps, to support local families.

Future development plans for the expansive site include the addition of basketball gyms, soccer fields, pickleball, and tennis courts, further enhancing the facility’s offerings and community impact.
